Learn more about Pataskala
First settled in the early 1800’s by David Huron and later named Pataskala, a name which derives from a Delaware Indian term meaning ‘Licking River’. This community has rural roots but has been rapidly growing because of its easy access to I-70 and Route 161 which makes the commute convenient to Columbus, Etna, Hebron, and New Albany. Pataskala encompasses 39 square miles of territory in Licking County and is only 20 miles East of Columbus. It offers a variety of homes from rural properties with acreage, newer condominiums, to single family housing on quarter acre lots. Pataskala offers two school systems, Southwest Licking Local Schools, and Licking Heights Local Schools.
